Get a bird’s eye view of the children’s literature landscape, from developing a writing practice to the nuts and bolts of publishing. Learn the differences between picture books, early readers, chapter books, middle grade and young adult novels. Understand the foundations of good storytelling, and gather tools to improve your craft, including revision and self-editing checklists.

This interactive workshop provides resources for every step of your writing journey, including goal-setting, learning to read like a writer, and finding a supportive writing community on your way to publication. Come discover the vibrant world of KidLit and the rewards of writing for children.

The cost of this 2-day workshop is $250, plus a $20 material fee
